Hambleton Covid - 19 Vaccinations LATEST INFORMATION

We are continuing to offer patient vaccinations at our Vaccination Centre situated at The Forum, Bullamoor Road, Northallerton, DL6 1LP. Patients who recieve their first dose of vaccine at The Forum will also be given an appointment from their GP for their second dose, probably at The Forum in due course once more is known about vaccine deliveries

Some patients will receive a letter inviting them to book a vaccination appointment at one of the mass vaccination centres which are been set up by the Government. If you already have an appointment for your first or seceond dose at The Forum we would ask you to disregard this letter and keep your appointment at The Forum. If you have not been offered a first dose appointment at The Forum, you may wish to take up the offer of an appointment at a mass vaccination centre. This is your choice. However, if you decide that attending The Forum is more convenient for you, simply disregard the letter and rest assured that your GP practice will contact you in due course to offer you a vaccination appointment at The Forum

50 - 64 year flu vaccine

As you may of heard the government have announced that patients aged between 50-64 years old will be eligible for a free flu vaccination from their GP Practice as part of the flu vaccination programme.

This is a great opportunity for us to protect even more of our patients at a time where there are additional health risks associated with Covid-19 (coronarvirus).

We urge that if you fall under this eligible category to contact us for an appointment.

We urge anyone who's in a clinical risk group to take up the vaccination offer when they receive it. It will give them a much needed layer of protection and there is absolutely no evidence that getting a flu vaccine increases the risk of getting Covid-19.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding
